For one period per week, students in the small group will develop their practical skills, gain hands-on experience, develop team building strategies, and improve their resilience through serving the whole school community by engaging in projects designed to enhance the physical landscape of the school. Projects could include but are not limited to gardening, lawn maintenance, landscaping and cleaning. Students will be supervised and provided with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. The program will start Friday 23rd February Week 4 and continue until Friday Week 11, 12th April. Students will be asked to catch up on classwork that has occurred during this time. Students who show that they are not committed to developing their skills and engaging with the program in an appropriate way will not remain with the program.
